Genuine Antique botanical prints

from an unidentified publication by John Wright
with charming original color lithographs (chromolithographs)
from the original paintings by Marie Low and Getrude Hamilton

circa 1890-1910. These prints are around 100 years old, not reproductions.

John Wright was a renowned horticulturist and editor of the London Journal of Horticulture in the latter half of the 1800s.
He produced fine works depicting lovely fruit, vegetables and flowers and details about their background and how to grow them. He employed excellent botanical artists to illustrate the plants.
The flowers in the prints we are offering were illustrated by Miss Gertrude Hamilton & Miss Marie Low.

The paper is a nice thick creamy stock with only occasional light foxing, mainly in margins.
