Audeley-end Palace
Audeley-end Palace in Essex, as it was in it's [sic] Splendor.

It was built by Tho. Howard Earl of Suffolk (Lord High Treasurer) in the Reign of James I, at the expence [sic] of £190,000, and called Audeley in memory of Chancellor Audeley, his Grand-father. Only the Model of it in Wood (which came from Italy) cost £500.
